Innocent MUTABAZI served as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in the first group in Rwanda. He was born and raised in Rwanda and holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Wildlife and Aquatic Resources Management from the University of Rwanda. He is President of Cooperative of Youth Integrated Development and Self-Reliance (COOYIDSR) at Burera District. He is also an advisor to the Wildlife and Aquatic Biodiversity Association in Rwanda (WABCA-RWA). He was the college student representative at his university and carried out an academic internship at Volcano National Park in conservation and in aquaculture production. He worked at Rubavu border as a clearing agent. Apart from that, he has attended different trainings and conferences such us training on leadership (7 Habits of Highly Effective People), on infectious disease management, demonstration site, and mini-conferences. Before joining CorpsAfrica, he volunteered with the Red Cross in their blood donation program. Innocent's mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with passion, compassion, humor, and style. He also believes that the best love is the one that makes you a better person, without changing you into someone other than yourself.
