He served as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Dedza East, where he worked in partnership with The Hunger Project-Malawi. Before CorpsAfrica, he worked at Population Services International (PSI Malawi) as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant on the HIV Self Testing Africa (STAR) project, in collaboration with Malawi-Liverpool Wellcome Trust. He has worked as an ICT Intern at Plant and Vehicle Hire Organization (PVHO)-Malawi during school breaks. James co-founded Shiftech Systems and worked as a Digital Engineer (part-time), which focused on developing websites for small business enterprises. He has also worked as a Research and Development Associate at Padoko Electronics, which focuses on solving energy problems in rural areas using low-cost bicycle-powered generators to power gadgets like mobile phones and flashlights. James is concerned about saving and preserving the natural environment, basic education, and sustainable energy development. He enjoys travelling and playing soccer during his free time.
