Kevin Sturtevant serves as CorpsAfrica's first Chief Development Officer. Before joining the organization in 2023, Kevin spent a large portion of his career leading the fund development and communications efforts for various non-profits. He recently served as Chief Development Officer for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. Also, he led fundraising efforts at the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) and World Food Program USA.  Kevin achieved his CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential and previously served as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals DC chapter. Kevin received his master’s degree in nonprofit management and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science/International Studies from American University in Washington, DC.
