Madison (Maddie) Collins joins CorpsAfrica as the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. Starting her career in international development with the United States Peace Corps as an Education Volunteer in Liberia, Maddie has since gained a Master’s Degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University. During her time at Columbia University she led the George Clement Bond Center for African Education and worked on many projects focused in the West African region. Her focus on human rights and African education during her degree built off of her experience working on the continent facilitating capacity building workshops to provide alternative forms of discipline to teachers to eliminate corporal punishment. Since completing her education Maddie has consulted on various projects to establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools for new projects implemented throughout the continent.
