Abdul-Latif Abdulai is a Ghanaian educator, community development advocate, and youth-focused development practitioner committed to creating meaningful opportunities for children and communities to thrive.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Linguistics Education and Dagbani from the University of Education, Winneba. This background has strengthened his passion for education, language, culture, and effective communication. Abdul-Latif believes that every Ghanaian child deserves a chance at an excellent education, regardless of their geographical location, socioeconomic background, or circumstances.

Driven by this belief, Abdul-Latif has worked with Lead For Ghana, contributing to efforts to improve educational outcomes and expand opportunities for learners. Through this experience, he developed a deeper understanding of the challenges facing education in underserved communities and the importance of committed educators in creating lasting change.

As part of his teaching experience, Abdul-Latif was posted to Kpatchu Junior High School (JHS) in the Kete-Krachi West District of the Oti Region, where he had the opportunity to work directly with learners and contribute to their academic and personal development. His experience in the classroom has reinforced his conviction that quality education can transform individuals, families, and communities.

Currently, Abdul-Latif serves as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in the Mion District, where he is involved in facilitating community-led development. In this role, he works alongside community members to identify their priorities, mobilize local resources, encourage participation, and support communities in developing sustainable solutions to challenges they face.

His work reflects a strong belief in community ownership, collaboration, inclusion, education, and sustainable development. Rather than simply providing solutions, Abdul-Latif is passionate about supporting communities to recognize their own strengths and take the lead in creating positive change.

Through his combined experiences in education and community development, Abdul-Latif continues to work toward a Ghana where every child has access to quality education and every community has the opportunity and capacity to shape its own future.
