Biography
Florence Wumbeni Adam graduated from the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale, earning a B.Sc. in Midwifery and obtaining a professional license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
Before joining CorpsAfrica, she served as a Learner Guide at Choggu Demonstration Junior High School with CAMFED Ghana. She has volunteered with several organizations, including Heliday Africa Foundation as Assistant Director of Operations and Special Duties, and served as Treasurer for the Midwifery Students’ Association at UDS.
During university, Florence conducted research on the factors influencing emergency contraceptive use among female students at UDS.
She believes that working with CorpsAfrica will enable her to engage with rural communities, share knowledge and skills, and help address their daily challenges.
