Biography
Maltiti Adam, affectionately called Titi, is a practitioner in development planning and governance with experience in conducting research. He holds a BSc in Development Management from the University for Development Studies (UDS), Wa, and an MPhil in Development Management from the University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS).
After completing his first degree, he served as a Teaching and Research Assistant for four years at the then UDS Wa Campus and subsequently at UBIDS. As a Teaching Assistant, he taught undergraduate courses such as Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development; Microfinance and Small Enterprise Development; and Local Economic Development. As a Research Assistant, he supported many consultancy projects where he assisted in proposal writing, data collection, data cleaning and analysis, and report writing. Some of the key projects he supported include United for Care-Sensitive Approaches (UCARE); Young Africa Innovates; Strengthening Investment in Gender Responsive Climate Adaptation (SIGRA); Gulf of Guinea Northern Regions Social Cohesion (SOCO) Project; and Regional Entrepreneurship Freedom Index.
As a passionate volunteer, he enjoys giving back to society through community service while using the same opportunity to learn from the communities he serves. Maltiti’s professional growth is anchored on constant learning, seeking knowledge, self-discipline, good character formation, and actively participating in the developmental agenda of rural communities while leaving a positive and lasting impact.
