Biography

Assinia Salifu Sharifa is a passionate Food Science and Technology graduate with a strong interest in human health, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and rural development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Tamale Technical University, where she was the SRC Vice President. Through that, she developed strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and advocacy skills.

Sharifa is a dedicated, resilient, and compassionate young woman who values persistence, teamwork, dialogue, and continuous learning. She currently serves as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Ghana, where she works with rural communities to understand their needs and support sustainable, community-led solutions.

Sharifa is also the founder of SHARI’S Banku and Tilapia, a food business that reflects her passion for food and entrepreneurship. In addition, she has skills in liquid soap making and pastries.

Sharifa is committed to empowering others and contributing to healthier, stronger, and more sustainable communities.
