Biography
Sara Atlassi holds her BA from SUNY Purchase College where she double majored in Economics and Theatre Performance with a minor in Environmental Studies. During her time at university, she was a very active member of the student body. She held various student jobs as well as leadership positions and represented her school in seminars. She also received a few awards for both her academic accomplishments as well as her engagement as a student leader.
In her previous roles she supported new students during orientation and through their integration in university/as residents. She also has experience in financial management and budgeting through her role as a Chief financial officer of the Purchase Student Government Association. Beyond university she interned with the Asiyah women’s center whose mission was to provide support to survivors of domestic abuse. She helped with various marketing campaigns, as well as engagement programs and client support. She then worked as a Move-in Coordinator at Broadview Senior Living, before joining CorpsAfrica/Maroc.
She is very passionate about projects that have a positive social and humanitarian impact and is excited to drive that positive change through her role in CorpsAfrica.
