Biography

Ousmane Ba, currently a Project Coordinator at CorpsAfrica/Senegal, is a versatile Senegalese professional specializing in intercultural training, translation, and community development. Holding a master’s degree in American literature and translation from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, he has gained solid experience as a trainer in professional English (business, logistics, HR) at several higher education institutions (ISEG, EIA, 2IM). His expertise also extends to technical translation (health, agroforestry, development) for organizations such as Peace Corps Senegal and The Hunger Project. Engaged since 2018 with Peace Corps Senegal as a language/culture facilitator (Wolof), Ousmane has trained volunteers in Senegalese values, security, and community integration. Certified in participatory analysis (PACA) and project management (YALI Network), he excels in intercultural coaching and mediation. Passionate about sustainable development, his advanced computer skills and interpersonal abilities make him a key asset for assignments requiring both technical rigor and cultural sensitivity.
