Biography
Sadou is a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, and Data Quality professional with over a decade of experience spanning the NGO sector and government agencies. Sadou served as Monitoring, Evaluation and Data Quality Officer at Shelter for Life International’s CROP-H project, where he handled data management, reporting, and quality assurance initiatives to support effective program delivery.
Previously he held roles at the National AIDS Secretariat, including Data Manager and Municipal AIDS Coordinator (KMC/BCC), where he oversaw data audits, managed databases (DHIS2), and coordinated HIV/AIDS prevention programs at regional level. His earlier experience includes managing data operations for Hands on Care clinic.
Currently, he holds a BSc in Information Systems from the University of The Gambia and an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech Computer Education – Nigeria. He is currently working on his thesis for the MSc in Management Information Systems at the University of The Gambia, with completion expected in June 2026. He is proficient in SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI, Survey Tools, with additional training in MEAL essentials, Spectrum Modelling, and M&E tools. Sadou is passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to enhance program outcomes and improve community well-being.
