Biography
Neway Belete was born,in Gore town, located in the Illubabor Zone of the Oromia Region, Ethiopia. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Dire Dawa University in October 2021.
Following his graduation, Neway dedicated nearly two years to agricultural activities in a remote rural area of the Ilu Ababor Zone. During this time, he actively served the rural community by assisting with crop collection and supporting various agricultural-related tasks. This hands-on engagement deepened his passion for rural community service and gave him a profound appreciation for the resilience, challenges, and potential of rural Ethiopia.
Driven by a commitment to make a lasting impact, Neway applied to join the CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia Volunteer program as part of Group 3. His successful application and interview process earned him the opportunity to become a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, where he now channels his skills, passion, and experience into projects that empower communities, promote sustainable development, and encourage self-reliance.
In addition to his professional and Volunteer work, Neway enjoys helping others and is recognized for his strong communication skills, which enable him to connect effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. His combined technical expertise, grassroots experience, and dedication to service position him as a valuable contributor to the CorpsAfrica mission of fostering positive change across Ethiopia.
