Biography
Eyob Sisay Birhanu is a dedicated and passionate professional born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. From an early age, he demonstrated a strong commitment to learning and personal growth. He began his educational journey at Behere Ethiopia Primary School, where he built a strong academic foundation, and later continued at Kokeb Tsebah Secondary School, further developing his knowledge and interest in social and economic issues.
Eyob pursued higher education at Addis Ababa University, one of the leading institutions in Ethiopia, and graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. His academic journey equipped him with critical thinking, analytical, and research skills essential for understanding complex economic and social systems. Alongside his studies, Eyob gained valuable professional and volunteer experiences. He worked as a private tutor, supporting students’ academic success through personalized instruction and mentorship. His ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them effectively made a lasting impact on his students’ educational progress.
He also contributed to the work of Life Worth Living Consultancy, Education, and Training Service Private Limited Company, where he served as a data collector for a short period. In this role, he participated in fieldwork and data collection efforts to support the organization’s mission of combating child labor and promoting social justice. Additionally, he earned a certificate in communication from YALI, strengthening his professional skill set.
Currently, Eyob serves as a CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia Volunteer with Group 3, where he continues to dedicate his knowledge and passion to empowering communities and driving positive social change.
