Abderrahim Boualy, hailing from Morocco, is a distinguished Chevening scholar possessing a master’s degree in public administration. Complementing this, he holds another Master’s degree in Cross-border Societal Dynamics, focusing on Morocco and West African countries, attained from the University of Ibn Zohr in Morocco. His academic pursuits extend to esteemed institutions abroad, with noteworthy participation as a MEPI Student Leaders program alumnus at Georgetown University, cohort 2013. Boualy is also a former Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Maroc, where he presently serves as an administrative board member. His global perspective was further enriched through his participation in the IFA Cross-Cultural program at Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Berlin, cohort 2016. In the realm of social work in Morocco, Boualy has demonstrated leadership in steering various programs and initiatives. Notably, he spearheaded the Life Screen for Qaryati initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Over the past seven years, Boualy has contributed his expertise to several international and national NGOs, including the Near East Foundation, CorpsAfrica/Maroc, and the Association Marocaine d’Appui à la Promotion de la Petite Entreprise (AMAPPE). In 2018, Boualy collaborated with a group of U.S. Department of State alumni to conceptualize and implement diverse projects under the Tamdoult association. Their efforts were recognized through prestigious awards and grants, such as the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund awards, MEPI local grants, and a USAID grant. Notable projects included the Social Innovative Students program, Compass, Moonshot, and Citizen Lab, where he assumed the role of a civic education specialist. Now, Boualy embarks on a new chapter as he joyfully takes on the role of Alumni Association Manager at CorpsAfrica GSO. In this capacity, he is poised to leverage his experiences and expertise to develop and strengthen the Alumni network, showcase its impactful initiatives, and foster a dynamic youth movement across Africa.
