Biography

Lesia Chauluka is a passionate young woman with a bachelor’s degree in community development from African Bible College Malawi. Lesia believes in starting with the end in mind which fuels her resilience and purpose even through challenging circumstances.

During her academic journey, she actively volunteered with Live Love, an organization focused on empowering youth, men and women. She worked in the women’s department because she believes women have power to change their story when given right support and opportunities. She also interned with Bright Vision a Community Based Organization where she inspired both youth and women to recognize and utilize resources that they already have.

Lesia is passionate about creating lasting impact by using her skills and experiences and now she is excited to be part of Cohort 9 at CorpsAfrica where she looks forward to working closely with local communities to create sustainable community led development.
