Washington Chifunda is from Blantyre, Malawi. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). Washington served as an Irrigation Technician intern at Malawi Mangoes Operations Ltd, A Mango supplying company in Salima. Washington believes that for one to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, one should think strategically and innovatively this is why he is very much interested in irrigation, farm mechanisation, soil, and water management, and community development and views CorpsAfrica as a great platform to embark on his community development journey.
