Biography

Dalitso Grace Chimenya is a dedicated social scientist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Malawi. With over three years of experience in community work, she is committed to improving the welfare of vulnerable and marginalized populations.
Her expertise spans social research, youth empowerment, gender advocacy, and livelihoods, with experience coordinating projects in social protection, nutrition, economic empowerment and climate change resilience, holding roles such as projects assistant at Jechride Foundation, social researcher and public relations officer at Seventh Day Baptist Health Services, assistant youth officer intern at Blantyre District Council. Her ability to adapt seamlessly to diverse social contexts has earned her the reputation of a social chameleon, building strong relationships and fostering trust across different groups.
Dalitso views society as a work of art—malleable and capable of transformation in the hands of those who care to shape it. She believes that, like a skilled carpenter crafting a masterpiece, anyone can help sculpt society into something just, beautiful, and empowering. This philosophy fuels her passion for community development and social justice
As a former CorpsAfrica/Malawi Volunteer, Dalitso is committed to implementing innovative, sustainable solutions in partnership with communities while advancing Pan-African philanthropy. Beyond her professional work, she is a passionate writer and spoken word artist, using her literary talent to address social issues and inspire change. Known as a lady of letters, she blends her expertise and creativity to contribute meaningfully to social transformation.
