Known under the name Moustapha Dieng, young Serer was born on April 12, 1996, in Kaffrine. Originally from Ziguinchor, he grew up in Kaffrine until the age of 12 with his brothers, sisters, and companions. He did his elementary studies in the same city where he obtained his CFEE in 2008. After these primary studies, he was transferred to Sédhiou where he found his maternal uncle who took care of him at school for 7 years. This is how he managed to obtain his average end-of-studies certificate in 2013 at CEM Amadou Maphathé DIAGNE, the best college at the time. And three years later he obtained his first university diploma, the Baccalaureate, at the Lycée Ibou Diallo in Sédhiou in 2017. It should be remembered that during his adventure in Sédhiou, he braved a lot of courage, ambition, and will for not only his studies but also for his mixing with Casamance culture, namely Kankourang for the Mandings, Koumpo for the Diolas and the balafon for the Balantes. He learned a lot of experiences in this region which further consolidated and strengthened his fervor and his inalienable ambitions. On the other hand, after obtaining his BAC, he was directed to the Alioune DIOP University of Bambey in the community health department, more precisely in the UFR Health and Sustainable Development. This gives him the opportunity to obtain his degree in community health with a fairly good distinction in 2020 and then his master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation in progress. In addition, during these six years, it evolved with a certain number of structures and NGOs, in particular, the health district of Kaffrine, Diourbel, kebemer on the one hand and on the other hand with ChildFund via Fédération du Baol, Ndeyi -jirim, AMREF Health Africa, Ademas in consortium with other organizations, USAID Owod, RENPES, SIGHT SEVERS, Transform Health and recently with CorpsAfrica Senegal etc…… Thus, in August 2023, he had the opportunity to join CorpsAfrica where he was trained as a Volunteer capable of participating in the development of communities. Thus, after his introduction to the NGO, he benefited from a fairly dynamic training period before being deployed in the field in order to carry out his volunteering mission for a year of service in order to contribute to the promotion and valorization of local development based on the community’s own resources. A mission that could not see the light of day without the help and trust of its community offering it all the support possibilities to boost the development of the local economy and even their empowerment.
