Biography
Venunye Kwesi Dorcoo is a dedicated community-led development practitioner with extensive experience in participatory planning, digital data collection, project management, and monitoring and evaluation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Development Planning from the University for Development Studies and brings a strong track record of driving grassroots, urban, and environmental impact.
Currently serving as a Volunteer in the Fifth Cohort of CorpsAfrica/Ghana, Venunye utilizes his expertise in youth mobilization and human-centered design to build resilient local communities. He previously served in the Second Cohort (Group 2) in Kpale-Ga, Volta Region, where he facilitated transformative initiatives, including a community learning and information center, economic empowerment and skills training for women, and digital literacy programmes for students.
Venunye’s experience as a Field Enumerator and Assistant Development Planning Officer showcases his skill in field surveys, stakeholder engagement, and dynamic project execution. Driven by creativity and a commitment to sustainable development, he thrives in fast-paced environments, empowering local communities through innovative, grassroots solutions.
