Biography
Fasseri Doumbia is a CorpsAfrica Volunteer serving in the Poro Region of northern Côte d’Ivoire, in the village of NANGAKAHA.
He is an alumnus of the highly selective Community College Initiative (CCI) Program in the United States, where he strengthened his leadership, intercultural competence, and understanding of agribusiness and sustainable development in diverse community contexts. During this experience, he received the Community CHAMPION AWARD from the Black Student Union of Kirkwood Community College, recognizing his outstanding contributions to community service, outreach initiatives, and local impact projects.
Fass was selected as one of only three Ivorian delegates to the first edition of the Ubuntu United Nations Training Program, a global leadership initiative focused on Servant Leadership, Ethics of Care, and Building Bridges in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Through this program, he engaged with youth leaders from across the world and deepened his commitment to ethical, inclusive, and community-centered development practice.
Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, Fass served as a volunteer Project Coordinator with ACE FOR KIDS, an NGO dedicated to improving children’s living conditions through education, health, and nutrition. He supported community mobilization, resource development, and the implementation of grassroots projects, including rural school rehabilitation initiatives carried out in close partnership with local leaders and residents.
Through his service with CorpsAfrica, Fass applies community-led development principles by listening first, facilitating collective action, and strengthening local capacities to identify and lead sustainable solutions.
He aspires to build a long-term career in community development and project leadership across Africa, grounded in field experience, ethical service, and locally driven impact.
