Biography
Esther Mukii Edward is an equal parts communications whiz, organizing ninja, and community advocate. As a Mount Kenya University graduate in Mass Media and Communication, majoring in Public Relations,
She began her career working with media agencies, where she learned to tell stories that connect with people. That experience turned a communicator into a community builder, with a passion for amplifying the voices that are rarely heard.
Her heart for the vulnerable in society was shaped by hands-on volunteering with children, including autistic children, and by humanitarian work that helps children and girls access what they need with dignity.
Today, Esther is a CorpsAfrica/Kenya Volunteer, working alongside youth, women, and persons with disabilities through Community-Led Development. She is passionate about advocacy and policy, and believes the people most affected by decisions should be the ones shaping them. She came for the impact and stayed for the journey.
