Biography

Alioune Faye holds a Master’s degree in Land Governance and Territorial Management from Gaston Berger University and a professional bachelor’s degree in the Socio-Anthropology of Rural Development from USSEIN in Kaffrine. His background focuses on territorial governance and rural development.

He participated in field surveys with the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD) and completed an internship at ActionAid, where he developed an interest in women’s empowerment. As part of his studies, he also worked on issues related to the production, consumption, and export of salt in Palmarin.

Alioune joins CorpsAfrica Cohort 10 with the aim of strengthening his field experience and contributing to community-led development solutions.
