Biography
Muliisa Pneuma Joan Fuorr is a dedicated advocate for positive social and environmental change, bringing a unique set of skills to the community. With a strong foundation in human resources management from the International University of East Africa, she has developed a versatile skill set.
As a volunteer at CorpsAfrica/Uganda, Muliisa served in Nakaseeta A and B villages in the Lyantonde district, working alongside local farmers to drive lasting change and development. During her time there, she played a key role in establishing a community farmers market, which provided a platform for local farmers to sell their produce and improve their livelihoods. She also led an environmental initiative, coordinating the planting of 20,000 trees in the community. Additionally, Muliisa worked closely with 35 local youths, guiding them in developing a bakery and piggery project, which not only created economic opportunities but also fostered a sense of community and cooperation. She has since taken on a new role as an exchange volunteer. She has since taken on a new role as an exchange volunteer in Ethiopia, immersing herself in a new context and contributing to meaningful projects. Prior to her volunteer work, Muliisa honed her communication and organizational skills as a Customer Service Executive at Ruby Hospital, where she developed the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Muliisa’s strengths lie in community development, project management, and communication. She has proven experience working with local communities to identify needs and implement impactful projects, and is skilled in managing projects from conception to completion. Her excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable her to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. With her passion for creating positive impact and her diverse skill set, Muliisa Pneuma Joan Fuorr is a valuable asset to any community or organization.
