Biography
Bisrat Gobezie is a dedicated Agricultural Economist committed to impactful community service. He graduated from Debre Markos University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, earning a CGPA of 3.98 and a Gold Medal. Bisrat possesses the analytical skills necessary to evaluate complex agricultural and economic situations, and to develop strategic solutions aimed at enhancing productivity and promoting sustainable practices within the agricultural and economic sector.
Beyond his technical expertise, Bisrat demonstrates a strong commitment to leadership and effective communication. This dedication is evidenced by his prior role as president of the child parliament of the Shebel Berenta district during his elementary school years. Furthermore, he has actively engaged in volunteer initiatives, including providing support to elderly individuals, renovating homes, participating in reforestation efforts, and contributing to community beautification projects. Driven by a desire to serve his community, Bisrat aspires to contribute his skills and experience to humanitarian organizations, agricultural enterprises, and economic development initiatives across Africa.
Currently, Bisrat is actively realizing this aspiration by serving the rural community through CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia, where he is dedicated to facilitating small-scale,high-impact projects.
