Biography
Passionate about community development, youth and women’s empowerment, as well as refugees’ rights, Amy Ndao Guèye is a dedicated professional who places human connection at the heart of her work. Holding a degree in Modern Literature, Art, and Communication from Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, she brings over three years of field experience in community development. Her career path is defined by high-impact missions, notably with Vector Link (IRS program), FOJEULA (now Polaris Asso), and CorpsAfrica in Senegal and Malawi—ranging from the Saloum region to the Dzaleka refugee camp.
Versatile and bilingual, Amy has been serving as a Project Coordinator (Volunteer Liaison) at CorpsAfrica/Senegal for the past two years. In this role, she oversees local initiatives, builds essential bridges between communities and public-private partners, and has been mentoring Volunteers toward their personal growth and professional integration for two years. An accomplished entrepreneur, she is also the co-founder of the start-up MAAM, which specializes in leadership training, soap and bleach making, artisan dyeing, design, and sales of traditional clothing, while also being involved in agricultural entrepreneurship.
A natural-born communicator, Amy is also passionate about the voice industry, enthusiastically lending her voice to podcasts and voice-over projects in her spare time.
