Biography

Eugene Iradukunda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, a field he chose out of passion for improving health, nutrition, and food safety in his community. His university journey was not only about academics but also about leadership and innovation. He served as the captain and coach of the sitting volleyball team, an initiative that promoted inclusivity, teamwork and resilience among students while giving him the chance to mentor and inspire his teammates.

Today, Eugene is serving in Gisagara District, where he dedicates his time and energy to making a difference in people’s lives. His work reflects a deep commitment to empowering communities and driving positive change.

Outside of his professional commitments, Eugene enjoys modern dancing, which allows him to express creativity, joy, and connection with others. This balance between science, service, and art defines who he is, a young leader motivated to inspire, uplift, and contribute to a brighter future.
