Biography

Divin Irakomeye holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Rwanda. Divin’s professional journey reflects a strong commitment to community development and rural transformation. He gained practical experience with Trademark Africa through the SPS Young Professionals Program, where he worked in SMEs management especially those in food processing this enhanced market access and food safety standards. He further strengthened his expertise as a professional intern at the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) in Nyagatare Station and as an agricultural extensionist with the Youth Engagement in Agriculture Network (YEAN).

Passionate about serving underserved communities, Divin volunteered with World Vision Rwanda’s Ultra-Poor Graduation Program, supporting households to build sustainable livelihoods and overcome extreme poverty. championed Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices to improve health outcomes in underserved rural communities. His dedication to empowering rural communities continues to drive his career and personal mission.

Beyond his professional work, Divin is a vibrant member of the Elite Generation Band. He finds joy and creative expression in live music, especially playing the acoustic guitar and piano, which fuels his creativity and uplift his spirit. Divin envisions a future where rural communities thrive through sustainable agriculture, collaborative innovation, and youth engagement, believing that meaningful change begins at the grassroots level.
