Biography

Solange Irakoze is a dedicated community development practitioner and educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, specializing in Geography and Economics. She is currently serving as an Exchange Volunteer from Rwanda in Kenya, where she continues to advance her passion for youth empowerment and sustainable development. Solange previously completed her Volunteer journey with CorpsAfrica /Rwanda, working with communities in Musanze District, where she successfully led a piggery farming initiative that has since grown into a thriving project for local youth.

Beyond this, she has engaged in activities such as supporting learners to return to school, promoting kitchen gardens to combat malnutrition, and leading hygiene improvement projects. With strong skills in community mobilization, economic empowerment, and leadership, Solange is committed to driving impactful change and inspiring sustainable livelihoods across Africa.
