Biography
Ishimwe Muhoza Celine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She is passionate about using legal knowledge and community engagement to drive positive grassroots change.
She previously worked as a Human Rights Officer at the Great Lakes Initiative for Human Rights and Development, where she facilitated human rights awareness campaigns and provided informal legal advice to community members. This experience strengthened her commitment to social justice and enhanced her ability to connect with people at the local level.
Celine also has a strong background in public speaking and legal advocacy. During her academic journey, she actively participated in interschool moot court competitions and debates, which sharpened her legal reasoning, confidence, and communication skills. She now applies these skills to empower and positively impact the communities she serves in Huye Gishamvu.
She believes that law and development must be inclusive, accessible, and community centered. Celine is committed to continuous growth as a facilitator and advocate for human rights and sustainable development.
