Biography

Delice Ishimwe is a dedicated and adaptable individual born and raised in Rwanda, with a passion for advancing modern agricultural practices in her community. Growing up in a rural area, Delice developed a strong interest in agriculture, inspired by the challenges her community faces in food production. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Rwanda, where she gained a solid foundation in modern agricultural technologies.

Throughout her academic journey, Delice has undertaken various internships that provided her with valuable hands-on experience. At Kabuye Sugar Industry, she gained insights into agricultural machinery, while her time at RAB Rubirizi allowed her to engage in research and development. Additionally, she took on the role of Marketing Lead for a manual feed pellet machine project, where she showcased her leadership skills and commitment to innovative solutions. Participating in agricultural expos further demonstrated her drive to promote sustainable farming practices and gather feedback for future improvements.

Delice thrives in team environments and values collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. She enjoys organizing group discussions and leading initiatives that inspire positive change. Outside of her professional pursuits, she loves reading novels and playing basketball and volleyball, which help her balance her academic and personal interests.

Excited to learn and grow, Delice finds great fulfilment in her mission to improve her rural community by promoting modern farming techniques to combat food shortages. Through her dedication and passion, she aims to create a lasting impact in her community as a proactive advocate for sustainable food systems.
