Biography

Wekaayatu Ismaila is a dedicated development professional, driven by a profound passion for community development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Education from the University for Development Studies, which laid the foundation for her practical experience in the field.

Her commitment to positive change is reflected in her diverse roles, including serving as a Reproductive Health Educator with the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana and as an Assistant Field Officer with Urbanet Ghana. She also worked with Lead for Ghana as a teaching fellow, where she facilitated the learning of Information and Communication Technology in one of the under-resourced schools in Northern Ghana. Prior to joining CorpsAfrica, Wekaayatu served as a Peace Ambassador with REEP Ghana, working to foster peace within her community and across the nation.

Her unwavering passion for empowering others ignited her desire to volunteer with CorpsAfrica, where she is eager to apply her skills and dedication to help drive positive change in underserved communities.
