Biography
Sulayman Jallow is a CorpsAfrica Volunteer with the Gambia G3 cohort for the 2025–2026 service year. He holds an Advanced Diploma Secondary in Education and is a trained French teacher, with a strong passion for education, youth development, and community engagement.
In addition to his teaching background, Sulayman is a creative professional with experience as a movie director, actor, and content creator. He also works as a video and photo editor and designs posters, using visual storytelling as a tool for education, advocacy, and social impact. His creative skills have strengthened his ability to communicate effectively, raise awareness, and engage diverse audiences.
Sulayman is deeply interested in community development, environmental sustainability, education, youth empowerment, and sports. He believes in working collaboratively with communities to identify local assets and support sustainable, locally driven solutions. His interests in reading and writing continue to shape his communication skills, while his love for football and film reinforces his appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and creativity.
As a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Sulayman is committed to making a lasting impact by applying both his educational and creative skills to support community-led initiatives that promote growth, resilience, and long-term development.
