Biography

Isatou Jobe is a CorpsAfrica Volunteer with a strong background in finance, information technology, and community development. She is studying Banking and Finance at Management Development Institute (MDI) and previously studied IT at the Rural Community Information Centre. Her combined financial and digital skills enhance her ability to support community-based initiatives with accuracy and innovation.

Isatou’s leadership journey began early, serving as Assistant Head Girl at Tahir Ahmadiyya Muslim Senior Secondary School in 2022. She is also a certified member of the African Youth Leadership Institute (AYLI), where she continues to engage in youth empowerment and civic participation.

Professionally, she has gained broad experience across several sectors. As Head of Finance at SIYA, where she managed financial reporting, safeguarded project funds, and ensured transparency and accountability in organizational spending. She also worked with C-Quest Capital, supporting climate-resilience activities in communities. At Quantumnet (Espace Motors), she gained hands-on experience in finance, customer service, and business support functions, strengthening her understanding of private sector management.

Her internship with global Islamic Banking and Economies AlHuda CIB expanded her knowledge of Islamic finance, deepening her interest in ethical and inclusive financial systems.
A committed humanitarian, Isatou volunteers with the Gambia Red Cross Society, participating in community outreach, first aid support, Disaster management, migration and social impact activities.

Now serving as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, to continue the embodiment of dedication, humility, and a passion for meaningful service using her skills and experience to create positive and lasting change in her community.
