Annie joined CorpsAfrica/Malawi because she wants to be part of a community where she can learn as much as she contributes. She is passionate about youth empowerment and hopes to support young people in finding opportunities to improve their livelihoods, particularly through sustainable income-generating activities. She is excited about living and working alongside a community, understanding its strengths and priorities, and working together to develop meaningful and sustainable solutions.

As a member of Cohort 10, Annie looks forward to learning from fellow Volunteers and the community, sharing experiences, building lasting connections, and challenging herself to grow. Throughout her service, she hopes to make a meaningful impact in the community she serves while growing both personally and professionally as a community development practitioner.
