James Kaguyu Njau is a dedicated young man who was born in Kisumu and raised in Murang’a County. He holds a bachelor’s degree in social science specializing in Community Development. He has a passion for serving the community by facilitating them to come up with their solutions using the resources they have around them. He has experience from different organizations such as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission where he has worked as a voter registration and validation clerk, deputy presiding officer, and presiding officer. He is an energetic person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to doing his things. He also has some good interpersonal skills which help him conduct his activities and work well with people. He is also a believer and passionate about youth empowerment. He believes that Empowering youths is making our future secure. Youths are energetic and creative and therefore we should try to capitalize on that. To achieve all this, he joined CorpsAfrica as a Volunteer where he is working as a community-led development facilitator which is a good platform to help under-resourced communities improve themselves using what they have. His hobbies are socializing, making friends, traveling, and reading.
