Biography
Jacqueline Kalinde is a passionate and committed young female who has a long-term aspiration of becoming sustainable development programs lead.
She holds a BSc in Agribusiness Management from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. During her time at the university, she founded an initiative that empowers, mentors and inspires needy students academically and in entrepreneurship. She agrees with Nelson Mandela that education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.
Jacqueline has interned with the National Food Reserve Agency. She has also worked with the agribusiness department under the Zomba District Agriculture office. Knowing that reduced agricultural productivity is one of the five risk multipliers for human development, Jacqueline is an advocate and supports SDG 13.
Apart from that, Jacqueline enjoys high intensity interval training because it maintains her mental health and physical fitness.
Prompted by the questions she has on why most developmental projects are not sustainable and her commitment of uplifting others, Jacqueline has joined CorpsAfrica as a Volunteer.
