Biography

Diane Kamaliza is a graduate of the University of Rwanda, College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM), where she specialized in Agribusiness. She is passionate about youth empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and community development.

Beyond her academic background, Diane is an active learner and a karate enthusiast, currently holding an orange belt. She also enjoys reading stories, which she considers a valuable way to expand her knowledge, creativity, and imagination.

Her motivation lies in working with young people, encouraging them to embrace self-initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving from within rather than waiting for external solutions. She aims to use her skills and experiences to inspire and uplift others through collaboration, education, and shared growth.

Diane has gained practical experience through her work with “Kilimo Trust”, a regional NGO, where she participated in training on vegetable and fruit farming and earned a professional certificate. This hands-on experience has strengthened her ability to promote sustainable agriculture and food security, while also positioning her to make a lasting impact in her community.
