Biography

My name is Ramatoulie Kanyi, and I am a dedicated and hardworking individual with a strong interest in education, skill development, agriculture, and community service.i am a graduate of Johnpickering comprehensive senior secondary school, where I spent three years completing my senior secondary education. During this period, I developed a passion for learning and personal growth which encouraged me to pursue further training after graduation.

After completing my high school, I undertook vocation training in painting, plastering, and tailoring. These programs equipped me with practical skill discipline and the ability to adapt to different work environments while also promoting self-reliance and creativity.

I later continued my academic journey at the Gambia College where I spent two years studying Agronomy and successfully obtained my Basic certificate in agronomy. My studies provided me with knowledge in crop, production,soil management and sustainable agriculture practice.

As part of my training I completed an attachment at Fandeema, a mixed farming center in Badibo, where I gained hands-on experience in mixed farming farm management and agricultural extension activities. This experience strengthened my understanding of agriculture’s role in food security and rural development.

In addition to my academic and vocational background, I am a volunteer member of Global Platform, where I actively participate in community based activities aimed at youth empowerment and social development through volunteering. I have developed teamwork, leadership and communication skills.

I am committed to continuing learning and using my skill and experience to contribute positively to my community and society at large.
