Biography

Tawina Katupi is a young Malawian professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Financial Services Management, with additional studies in Entrepreneurship and Business Management. She is passionate about community development, youth empowerment, financial inclusion, and creating sustainable solutions to challenges faced by communities.

Tawina is a curious and people-oriented individual who enjoys learning from others, engaging in community activities, and developing new skills. She believes that meaningful change begins when people work together and communities are empowered to identify and address their own challenges.

She is excited to join CorpsAfrica/Malawi as a Cohort 10 Volunteer because of the opportunity to serve communities, learn from fellow young leaders, and gain practical experience in community development. She looks forward to stepping outside her comfort zone, building meaningful relationships, and contributing her skills and energy to creating positive and lasting change in the community she will serve.
