Biography
Kayumba Abdallah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communication from the University of Rwanda. At advanced level, he pursued Literature, Kinyarwanda, and Kiswahili at College du Christ-Roi Nyanza, which built a strong foundation for his passion in language, culture, and communication.
He has over three years of experience teaching Kinyarwanda and promoting Rwandan culture through programs such as “Igitarmo Nyarwanda” and “Inganzo n’Ubufanganzo” on Radio Salus. Beyond broadcasting, he has contributed to cultural preservation by educating communities about the importance of embracing their mother tongue and heritage. Abdallah is also a poet and Master of Ceremony, roles that allow him to inspire, entertain, and connect people through words and creativity.
In addition, he is trained and certified by PaxPress, in partnership with FOJO, in combating gender-based violence, and has also received First Aid training from the Rwanda Red Cross. His work reflects a deep commitment to social impact, particularly in empowering youth and promoting equality.
Abdallah is passionate about community development, cultural identity, and creating opportunities for young people to engage in meaningful change. He is excited to continue his journey of service with CorpsAfrica, working closely with rural communities to foster sustainable development, preserve culture, and uplift vulnerable groups. His dedication to positive change is fueled by the belief that even small actions can create lasting impact.
