Biography
Catherine Kloku is an alumna of the University for Development Studies, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. She also holds a certificate in Data Analytics (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python) from Blossom Academy.
She served with Lead For Ghana as an Associate for three years, teaching English Language at Apostle Ntumy Junior High School in the Krachi West District and later at the College of Music Senior High School, Mozano. During this time, she spearheaded a fundraiser to provide essential teaching and learning materials such as whiteboards, markers, textbooks, and exercise books. Beyond literacy and communication, she fostered critical thinking, creativity, and confidence among her students.
Her background in Environmental Science has shaped her strong interest in climate change, sustainability, and the role of data in addressing social and environmental challenges. This passion inspired her to volunteer with McKingtorch Africa, supporting initiatives that link education with environmental awareness.
Catherine is particularly committed to empowering young people to champion sustainability while advancing their personal growth. She continues to seek opportunities to combine her teaching experience, analytical expertise, and passion for sustainability to create meaningful community impact.
