Biography

Cecilia Mukui Matata, a Nursing and Public Health professional. Passionate in health care equity and sustainable community livelihoods. She has Bachelor of Science in Nursing &Public Health from Kenyatta University, licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya ( NCK) board , and being an Aspire Leaders Program alumni, she has a strong foundation in community health nursing, community led problem solving and cross cultural leadership and facilitation experience.Beyond her nursing background , Cecilia is experienced in community development, youth empowerment, health advocacy, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights ( SRHR) and sustainable environmental friendly agricultural practices and understands the power of community led initiatives. As she steps into CorpsAfrica Volunteer journey, she is ready to listen to the community, learn from them , facilitate sustainable community led developments while utilizing Human Centred Design ( HCD) , and Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)
