Biography

Lethabo Matsepe is an innovative Community Development Practitioner passionate about fostering innovation and economic resilience in underserved South African communities through transformative initiatives. Currently, she serves as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Tzaneen, Ballon Village, where she drives community led change. A graduate of the University of the Free State, Lethabo leveraged her experience at Macro Informative Youth Agency (MIYA) to develop programs tackling socio economic challenges.

She gained expertise in project management, change facilitation, and monitoring & evaluation. As Project Administrator for the SpazaUp project, she equipped local shop owners with marketing and branding skills to compete with foreign businesses. She also led the Innovation Support Programme, mobilizing and mentoring youth to address challenges in the Eastern Free State.

Her work aligns with CorpsAfrica’s mission to empower young leaders for high impact initiatives. Lethabo believes in community driven solutions and collaborates with local stakeholders to create sustainable growth. Her strengths include strategic planning, youth engagement, and problem solving. She is committed to amplifying marginalized voices and reducing inequality.
