Elizabeth Mthimunye is a dedicated Volunteer who has devoted her time to contributing to various causes and organizations. With a strong commitment to helping organizations that shield and protect young girls, such as Peas in the Pot, and offering her time to associations that promote human rights, such as the Paralegal Association of South Africa, Elizabeth has made a significant impact in her community. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Gauteng, Elizabeth has always been passionate about social justice, education, and helping those in need. She attended Tshwane University of Technology, where she earned a diploma in Jewellery Design and Manufacture, and also graduated in Paralegal Studies. During her time in school, she was actively involved in a community soup kitchen for homeless people, which helped cultivate her passion for community service and social good. The experiences and knowledge gained through her education have significantly influenced her approach to volunteer work, particularly in areas such as social justice education and patent and trademark advocacy. At the heart of Elizabeth’s volunteer work is a strong belief in empathy, equality, justice, and environmental responsibility. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue making a difference as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, advocating for meaningful causes, and encouraging others to thrive.
