Biography
Jeannette Mukabihozo holds a bachelor’s degree in applied statistics from the University of Rwanda, Gikondo campus. In addition to her academic background, She is also passionate about creative arts. She designs and make handwoven products such as sweaters, hats, hair accessories, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings what known as made in Rwanda. She first developed these skills during her time at FAWE Girls’ School Gisozi, where She was an active member and later a leader in the Akazikanoze club. After completing her undergraduate studies, She made a deliberate choice to serve her country by working in rural communities. She moved to Musanze District, Where She work with locals communities to promote their development. She applies participatory approaches such as CLD (Community-Led Development), HCD (Human-Centered Design), and ABCD (Asset-based Community Development), for which she holds certification from CorpsAfrica/Rwanda after intensive training.
She is deeply committed to empowering communities by encouraging people to use their own strengths and assets to drive change, while also contributing my knowledge and creativity. She is passionate about blending her background in statistics with her artistic talents, cultural pride, and advance sustainable development. Above all, She is proud to contribute to Rwanda’s growth and to play a role in uplifting underprivileged communities.
