Biography
Charity Koki Mulei is from Machakos, Kenya. She is a software developer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She has worked on digital health systems such as Kenya Electronic Medical Records and Electronic Community Health Information System, where she developed strong skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and using technology to address real community needs.
Her previous experience prepared her for her role as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, where she engages communities by helping them recognize their own strengths, actively involving them in shaping solutions, and supporting them to take the lead in driving sustainable change. She believes that safe and secure digital systems are essential in today’s world, especially as communities increasingly use technology in education, business, and health.
For her, Cybersecurity is not only about protecting information but also about building trust, creating opportunities, and ensuring that technology can be a reliable tool for sustainable development. This passion aligns with her CorpsAfrica mission of empowering people with skills, knowledge, and tools that enhance resilience and open pathways for innovation.
