Biography
Isaie Muragijimana is a Rwandan psychologist passionate about advancing mental health, youth empowerment, and sustainable community development. He earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rwanda in 2025, focusing his research on trauma, decision-making, and risk-taking behaviors among young people. During his academic journey, he served as President of the Clinical Psychology Student Association of Rwanda, where he mobilized students for mental health advocacy and capacity-building, and he currently serves as a Board Member of the Rwanda Scouts Association, contributing to national and regional initiatives on youth leadership, peacebuilding, and family reintegration. Isaie has successfully secured grants and seed funds and established partnerships with institutions such as the Embassy of Israel in Kigali, Interpeace, the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Kigali, and other development partners, enabling him to implement impactful projects for adolescents and communities. Through clinical internships at Nyagatare District Hospital, Rwanda Military Hospital, the Centre for Mental Health, and Ndera Neuropsychiatric Teaching Hospital, Isaie has gained valuable professional experience that complements his leadership. With strong skills in facilitation, research, public speaking, and community engagement, he is committed to bridging psychology, education, and development to foster resilience, dignity, and opportunity for individuals and communities across Rwanda.
