Biography
Maureen Mutesi, a Rwandan from Nyagatare District, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Production from Rwanda Polytechnic Musanze Campus. While in college, she served as Minister of Gender Promotion and Protocol, advocating for gender equality. Currently serving as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in Gisagara District, Maureen is dedicated to supporting rural communities through sustainable agriculture, youth and women empowerment, and environmental conservation. Recognized as a Green Rising Ambassador, she actively promotes climate-smart practices and kitchen gardening to enhance nutrition and income. Passionate about community development, she is committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in poverty reduction, education, gender equality, and environmental protection.
