Biography

Brenda Mutuma is an environmental enthusiast and climate change advocate with a Bachelor of Arts from Egerton University, where she majored in geography and Kiswahili. Brenda is passionate about environmental conservation, sustainable change, climate change awareness, and empowering youths and communities to adopt sustainable practices. She believes that lasting development begins with a positive shift in mindset and active community participation.

Currently serving as a CorpsAfrica/Kenya Volunteer, where she works alongside rural communities to identify challenges and develop locally driven solutions by using existing skills, resources, and knowledge. Through her service, she aspires to change mindsets, promote continuous learning, youth empowerment, advocate for inclusive community-led development, and encouraging environmental sustainability
