Biography

Séraphine Nabwire is a social work and community development professional. She holds a diploma in Social Work and Community Development and is certified as an HIV Testing Services provider.

She worked for one year in HIV testing and for another year with the Kenya Red Cross. She also served as a CorpsAfrica/Kenya Volunteer in the rural community of Kirindine in Meru County, where she supported a community project that provided tents and chairs as an income-generating activity for the community.

As an Exchange Volunteer in Senegal, Séraphine hopes to strengthen her community development experience and share her approach centred on collective action and local impact.
